LOOK what i have got here in the san-ka-la island-- My fave TINKERBELLE's MUSICAL BOX! a pressie from me to me for new term. Well, i have to encourage myself to study wut. So i OUGHT to buy it. heheh

They are all my housemates lor.

East Malaysian and my england trip

Gosh! I never knew this until today! I have just discovered the Sabah-ans and sarawak-ians' anti-west-malaysian-ness!!

Ok, the story goes like this. There were me and aH Ling ( a penangnite has got a Sarawakian's bf ), 2 friends of ours from Sarawak and a Johorian. So, while we were walking home, we talked abt Sarawak lo. The sarawakians were all so proud of their birth place, their food ( which Ah Ling tot was just so-so compared to Penang's ). Then Ah Ling curi curi told me that Yes, this is the typical them. And she somemore told me that actually, all of them until today still think that they dont belongs to anybody. They should be an independent state. that they are really anti-west-malaysians. I was like, 'ah? but we r from a single body wut" so she said ' wanna see the prooves?" So she straight away ask the 2 guys. "eh, do u think that sarawak should be independent?" They goes like this $@%^#%$#U(*(&%$$^*. Yes, this was their big reaction! They feel like, they should be independent becoz they have everything! but their everything goes to west Malaysia, leaving them undevelope just like this. I really felt ashame today. Shameful for my country. i did really pity the east malaysian. I knew even if i were them i will feel the same way too. No doubt Kelantan is also a left-out state but Kelantan have never contribute anything to this country by the way, besides issues over issues which are headache-full. I felt shame of the disunited between the east and west. Ah, how horrible. All the best to Ah Ling la, his bf planned to come back to sarawak and work as doctor for good after his 4 years in New Zealand wor.. heheh

The second part of my Hols I went to my cousin's place-- Malvern, england. It was a bravo trip! i experienced the british home style. My cousin has got an english husband mar.. but these were not the original main intention of mine actually. I intended to catch up with my niece. Whom i was very close to last time. Their family used to go back to malaysia every summer. They bought a house just opposite my wakaf bharu home so i was doing the layan-ing with the little niece since i was the smallest at home. But after i left KB, i didnt have the chance to meet them, so over 4 years, my niece became a 16years old teenagers d. So, for the 5days i was at their home, i chatted with her for not more than 10 sentences. U know, teenagers love to act cool mar. But i knew she isnt the proud and anti-asians type la, so i wasnt mad at her after all. Her room's wall somemore still have my photos which i sent to her years ago.

My cousin n her husband treated me really well. I felt like i was having Youth Exchange all over again. With them fetching me from the Birmingham International Airport, With a room specially prepared for me, With warm winter clothes and bedroom slippers and towers awaiting me....

The Reservoir, Wales. It was a 2 hour journey to the west of England

Welcome to the Ee Laine Valley!! Ha! Well, to be exact, it is ELAN VALLEY but i m gonna name her my valley anyway.

so like those in the Mals Seven advert yeah!

This corridor looks familiar? It is the Glaucester cathedral. where the Harry potter was filmed. well, for the whole cathedral, only this corridor that was familiar to me. a big clap to the photographic~

Hogwart Magical school aka Gloucester Cathedral

My cousin.

Welcome to Oxford City~. I travelled SOLO! haha! i tried! well, it was not bad. I sendiri read the map and walk round the whole city. Actually there's a City sightseeing tour bus bringing the tourist around. But i found it was boring. Being used to be a traveller nowadays, so i want to challenged myself and Bingo! i never know i m this clever. hehe.

Haihh..people! dont ever simply assume. Since this is the Uk number 1 Univ doesnt mean that Oxford university surely have the grand-HUGE-old-campus. When i reached Oxford train station, i asked the bus driver if he pass by Oxford Univ. He was like."what? the univ is all around the city." He then pointed me to the buildings nearby. Oh no! how disappointed i m to know that Oxford univ is just a city-campus like my Univ of Strathclyde. aihh>>

Look at the flight i took. It was just a 4seated per row flight and the wings are so cute. somemore the turbin and the tayar. But trust me, u will never enjoy being inside of this barbie doll plane in the sky. I prayed so hard during the take off and landing. Maybe it was my psychology again. I felt like the whole plane was blew by the strong wind and was gonna collapsed at anytime. But after an hour journey, i reached Glasgow safely. fullstop. ekeke =)

My results...

Hi ya! Sorry for the delay updates for my travel blog! Been busy with school reopen la wut la.

GOOD NEWS!!! I HAVE PASSED ALL MY PAPERS FOR THE SUMMER SEMESTER!
I have passed the hardest one so the following semesters shouldnt be a prob! =)

It was released when i was still in England. I was so touched! my housemates all pakat-ed not to let me know anything abt the results at all until i came home, Jia accompanied me to our village office. It was closed for 10mins when we reached. Oh god! u never know how slow the 10mins was. Many ppl in our batch has failed so i was so scared. Jia kept talking to me so as to keep me occupied but i only get in half of the conversation. i was recalling, of all my life, of all the big exams, i have never really get the results myself.
UPSR- i was in Penang with my family, Yong wei took for me and i called her for my goodnews. 6As
PMR- when i just stepped into the chunghwa block, i saw Mrs khang n she straight away told me i have got 7As. So i already knew my results before i got my result slip.
SPM- I was in subang then. Planned to go n take my results when i go home which was a month later but i just cant wait. Mom went to take for me at last. It was a bad news tho, for i only got a 4As. I wasnt that disappointed actually, since i was expected so. Since i really wasnt that fit for anything for the time like that. Let alone, exam. =(
SAM- Because of the time difference, while waiting for my results to be posted up in the internet from Australia, i fell asleep. Lau Yang who knew my exam number and passwords was the 1st to check my result and then i knew my results through the long distance call.

So, when the officer passed me the whole stack of envelopes. I was just like a sotong. with my whole body leaned on the counter. I wasnt exagerating or what u know. I threw the stacks to Jia and she helped me find mine through the names. Ta-da! she passed me my life-threatening, heart-attack causing envelope. With the shaky hands, i tear open the envelope. I already knew that if i pass, it will only be a single piece of paper while if i failed, there will be two. So, the 1st thing i did was checking the amount of papers i got. IT HAS ONLY ONE PAPER!! i shouted. Jia rampas the envelope and glanced for me then. "LAINE, YOU PASSED!!" The next thing i did was I SCREAMED and hugged her so tightly!! without i myself noticed. Luckily it was already 10pm so the whole office was only the officer alone. The officer hugged me as well.

haihh..what a relieved. U never know how streessful this paper was.

Stockholm~!

ICE BAR~! A must go place when u r here. But please be prepared with the size of the bar. It is even smaller than Chung Hwa's Science Building's class room! we were quite disappointed la when we 1st went in....

Everything inside was made of ice! the wall, the chair, the table, the bar, even the cup. The Absolute Vodka goes so well with the ice cup. Overall it was a very good experience. =)

Skansen- An open air muzeum. U can see the whole Sweden here. From Swedish dance to Swedish food to Scandinavian Animals!

HoHo Swedish Ice Cream is still the very best of all the places i went! Look! SIX big scoopes of and yet we still had not enough.

The 16th century street. Felt like it was turning back time when u r here. So dramatic!

All in all, Stockholm was not bad..but it just wont makes me wanna go again. Unlike Norway. Or probably we had too little time here. We only stayed for a nite...A night is just not enough

Touring around Oslo City

Day THREE

We reached Oslo quite early in the morning and jom-ed! we went to tour around the city

sometimes, it is better to just keep the mouth shut. This photo was so perfectly taken ya? Kate caught this man in the park to snap this photo for us. Normally, those photos taken this sucks. Especially when we posed so spread out like this. So when the man was shooting, i asked " M i in the photo?" The person answer ' dont worry my dear, i am a famous photographer in the scandinavian." i was like "er...."

This is for real. cant imagine that this animal really existed million of years ago. But well, i doubt that even if they were not extinct, i dont think the today world can really fit him. ahh..pityful!

quite unreacheable but yet, i can still manage =p

This is never as easy as i taught it would be. i only got a maximum of 4 steps.

The viking museum.

APPLE TREE~!!! we were all so excited to see this. 1st time in my life to eat apple without those disgusting wax.

Kon-kiki museum

Hah! what a romantic scene.

Vigelandsparken. Were all the statue stood in the whole park. I m not the artistic kind of person but those art work really amazed me. look at how real the expressions...

And so the night we went pubing. Huh! One word! H O R R I B L E~! When we went in, hah, the men were just like bees. And we were the five pityful flowers. They were so desperate for girls dunno y. So desperate to dance with us. but luckily they aint the itchy hands type la. They are not the local people btw. yucks! That was the worse pubbing experience of mine.

We finally got this picture after N trials outside the pub. The i love oslo words behind kept blinking so it was really hard. but being vain pots, we dont mind the trials =p

We took the Norwegian Air to Stockholm the next day. It was not bad. wou! There was a stupiest DICK ever on top of my head. by u-know-who. hehe
