Manchester and Blackpool for the weekend

erlo buddies! sorry i forgot abt my blog! Thanks to Ade's message a couple of days ago saying "eh laine, update ur c2pid blog la!" hehehh..

So, I went to manchester and Blackpool over the weekend. They were surely great. Only four of us, took the 3hours train from glasgow and offf we went. We reached the Manchester Picaddily train station at midnight.

"now what?" i remember one of us asked.
The reason y- we dont have any map or a guide book-we only have this..taken from the internet
( i hope neither my family nor my goat is reading this la )












thanks to a bunch of hongkies who brought us to our pre-booked youth hostel. after abt N times asking us "how dare you gals dont have a proper map?!" x100000times. well, Not that we were brave. We were just lazy and take things for granted. fullstop.

The 1st day- tour around the city. Manchester is a place i m not so fancy. It is too city. like KL. A very good place to shop and tour around but not a good place to retire...














We toured around the Old Trafford stadium and it's muzeum. For ur information for those who is not a football fan like me, Old Trafford=Manchester United stadium=) i just got to know this name the day b4 we depart. when i browsed through the tourist attractions. ekekke..
ya they have won lotz of throphy. ya a huge stadium. ya very red...
For the whole muzeum, i was only busy eyeing on my David Beckham's photos. too bad he already left the club so there were only a few of them=(

Manchester China Town. Oh god. how disappointed i was! I read a lil abt it at home. One of the biggest China Town in Uk kononnya. smaller than KL's Petalling Street nia. well I was imagining that Jackie Chan's Police Story 2 which was taken in Sydney's China Town many years ago la. so huge and happening u see..





















Then was Blackpool. A sea side town north-west of England. It was just an hour train ride from Manchester. i loce this place i tell u. i love the people and the slow pace

Black "pool"- or that suppose to mean black sea? well..Redang has nicer sea la.













There was the pleasure beach theme park, on the beach! haha. so basically the ride r facing the sea. it was kinda exciting, like u r falling into the sea any time! There was a roaler coaster which went backwards. so u got lots of surprises on the ride. since u cant see the track at all and u will never know what comes next. haha. very good ride wey!

I always love the outdoor theme park, like i never fail to feel happy when i dine in Mcdonalds. oh man. i m feeling childish myself when i type that. but anyway, who cares =)
