Nottingham Malaysian Games

I went to this Malaysian Games in Nottingham. Joined the fellows of Glasgow University Malaysian Society ( GUMS ). Took a 6hour bus from Glas on fri midnight, reached Nott at abt 6am.

If u r imagining like those Chung Hwa's sport day. nahHH. man-man-deng la. Even KGCC's tennis tournament also much more "spoting" than this. It was 4degree celcius that day. so everything was indoor. No sunshine which made the whole thing ever so dull.

Before this, I was ever so well prepared myself with all my imaginary HIs and HELLOs and all the huggies with my imaginary long-lost-old chung hwa-mates or whoever that i m familiar with! I was even imagined to answer to whoever that say i become slimmer kah prettier kah taller kah. duhh...aishehh...dont vomit k. BUTTTTTT aih.... i only met one----Wai Sum. Haha. Not to say that i m not happy to see him la har. Just that seeing only one old friend was so far from my expectation. was it that i think too highly on myself or what i dunno la. heheh.

ok back to Wai Sum. He is good. Still the same 1st Aider carrying the box of medicines. But only the status that changed. He is no longer the St.John member u kno. HE IS A 2ND YEAR MEDIC STUDENT la wey mai siao siao. But we didnt hav much time to catch up tho. He was too busy on duty that day. But well, since Nott is just an hour away from Loughborough ( lau yang's place ), we promised to meet up on christmas hols when i m there.

So i met lau yang as well. I was sincerely happy to meet him. Went to pak thor in Nott city after his badminton match lui. but well, my main purpose of joining the tour was not just to see him la. since all the way from glas by SIX hour of so-not-comfortable-BUS then take THAT NIGHT BUS itself for another SIX hour BUS back home just for pak thor is not practical la. I would rather pay for another 20pound n take the direct flight comfortably from glas for the weekends or something with him.

oh ya. but at least i met our Menteri Pendidikan in person that day. well, overall, besides the disappointment. it was not that bad actually. At least i got to eat Malaysian Food like Nasi Lemak ( 2pound man! ) and at least next time if ppl mention Nott games, i know what it is la.
